STILLWATER — A stolen portrait of Oklahoma State University donor M.B. “Bud” Seretean, who died last year, was returned anonymously with an unsigned note of apology, police said Friday.

Private donors are funding a $15.9 million project to renovate Texas A&M University's Clayton W. Williams Jr. Alumni Center that will realign office space and add the Haynes Ring Plaza, parking, quote walls, interactive exhibits, two meeting rooms and a great hall. The stairs of the building - popular among brides for portraits - will be removed.
